After I described the screening audience's reaction to this film to a friend, he posited that the studio may have planted people in the audience (they did have an Ecto-1 parked outside the theater). I wouldn't go that far, but I have never seen an audience react so rabidly for obviously lazy cameos and lines. It was like being at a midnight screening of Rocky Horror Picture Show.Kevinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00968599374745775550noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1514425169020168406.post-90867286744245935852016-07-25T12:24:36.746-06:002016-07-25T12:24:36.746-06:00Thanks for the feedback, but I invite you to rerea...Thanks for the feedback, but I invite you to reread the review. I spent quite a bit of time explaining why things are bad, independent of my personal experience - the mansion ghost scene, nonsensical plot elements like Homeland Security monitoring them as well as the dance pose, comedy that doesn't utilize the premise or plot of the movie and is explained by the characters throughout the film, and actors visibly struggling to deliver lines and believable scenes. More importantly, my strong opinion does not delegitamize the flaws, they're still massive flaws in a terrible movie. My personal experience just made want to cuss about it a lot more than usual.Kevinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00968599374745775550noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1514425169020168406.post-26908587177130006852016-07-20T09:16:37.596-06:002016-07-20T09:16:37.596-06:00Actually, no. Unfunny and poorly acted, with lame FX.<br />Spot on review.Andochttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09591959994204255706noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1514425169020168406.post-87524618507807420192016-07-15T22:53:20.647-06:002016-07-15T22:53:20.647-06:00I feel like your disdain for the audience and thei...I feel like your disdain for the audience and their enjoyment of the film is a deep irony. You spend your review naming things you don't like and calling them bad, without actually discussing critically why these things are bad, other than they are not to your taste. Clearly, they were to the rest of the audience's. You're quite allowed to dislike a movie and quite allowed to write about why, but recognize that your motives are less legitimate flaws and more your personal experience with the film.Class Acthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13550020358220791812noreply@blogger.com
